アメリカのヘグセス国防長官は24日、新興企業アンソロピックのCEOと会談し、アンソロピックが開発した、対話型の生成AI「クロード」の安全策を27日までに撤廃するよう要求したとアメリカのニュースサイトが伝えました。「クロード」はアメリカ軍の機密システムで唯一利用されているAIモデルで、アンソロピックは、軍事利用の制限を設けていますが、ヘグセス氏は、安全策の撤廃を要求し、軍事利用の拡大へ圧力をかけた形です。アメリカメディアによりますと、アンソロピックのアモデイCEOは会談で、「クロード」を使って人間の関与なしに敵を攻撃したり、アメリカ国民に対する大規模監視を行ったりしないことを求めたということです。
